Disposing of old equipment

A computer, monitor or printer no longer in use. You cannot simply throw it away — inventoried equipment must be written off with a form.

  1. Fill in the write-off form

    Fill in the form and list every item you are disposing of, including its inventory number.

    No inventory number? — Call the warehouse on extension 8295 and they will produce a label. Details here.

  2. Signatures

    Collect the signatures listed at the bottom of the form.

  3. Move the equipment

    Two options, depending on how much there is:

    • Bring it yourself — take the equipment and the signed form to the warehouse.
    • Order a transfer — through Anant, suitable for heavy items or a large quantity.
