Reaching your computer remotely

The university runs two separate VPNs. The only question that decides which one you need is where you are.

1. Where are you right now?

   I am in IsraelFaculty VPN

   No registration needed, and you can reach as many machines as you like, whenever you like. This is the convenient option — as long as you are in the country.

   I am abroadUniversity VPN

   Works from almost anywhere in the world, but requires advance registration through TMR and is limited to one machine fixed at registration.

   Travelling abroad? — Set up the university VPN before you leave. Registration needs a TMR request, and TMR is only reachable from the campus network.
