Reaching your computer remotely
The university runs two separate VPNs. The only question that decides which one you need is where you are.
Where are you right now?
I am in IsraelFaculty VPNNo registration needed, and you can reach as many machines as you like, whenever you like. This is the convenient option — as long as you are in the country.
I am abroadUniversity VPNWorks from almost anywhere in the world, but requires advance registration through TMR and is limited to one machine fixed at registration.
The difference in one table

Registration needs a TMR request, and TMR is only reachable from the campus network.
