Connect to Eduroam

The academic wireless network. Set it up once and connect automatically at any university in the world.

  1. Download the installer

    Download the Bar-Ilan installer for Windows or macOS.
    For mobile devices (Android / iOS) use the general eduroam site.

  2. Run the file

    Run the downloaded file, click Next and then OK.

  3. Enter username and password

    The same credentials as your Bar-Ilan mail — including the @biu.ac.il suffix.

    Don't remember them? — Find your username · reset your password.

  4. Finish

    Click Finish. From now on eduroam connects automatically whenever it is in range.

  5. If the installer failed — manual setup on Windows

    eduroam.txtNetwork profile · save to your desktop

    Open a command prompt as administrator (Start → type cmd → right-click → Run as administrator) and run:

    netsh wlan add profile filename="%userprofile%\desktop\eduroam.txt"
